OVERVIEW

Zumba at Vermont Sport & Fitness Club is unique because Peg has cultivated a culture where everyone can feel relaxed and be themselves while they dance. The classroom is private with bright colored walls, natural lighting and a new dance floor designed to be easy on the body.  Zumba combines Latin and international dance rhythms with easy to follow dance moves. No dance experience required. (60 min.)

ZUMBA DESCRIPTION

Zumba just might be our funnest class. If you have never taken it before, you are in for a treat! With great music and a party-like atmosphere, everyone can have fun while getting a great workout. If you have taken it, you know that the dance moves are made for all experience levels. While you are learning, you are always having fun.

It’ll take the “work” out of workout, by mixing low-intensity and high-intensity moves; therefore creating an interval-style, calorie burning dance fitness party! You’ll see why these classes are often called “exercise in disguise” once the Latin and World rhythms take over. In addition to the fun, it’s a total workout. It combines all elements of fitness – Cardio, Muscle Conditioning, Balance and Flexibility.

You’ll find that each class with Peg gives you boosted energy and will leave you feeling awesome. The key to a successful Zumba class is that everyone who joins finds out that they love to move, they CAN move, and maybe even have some moves! This class takes place in our main classroom upstairs, which has a special floor designed for dancing that is easy on the body. Finally, if you want to have fun, get a great workout, and meet some great people, this class will not disappoint you.
