A combination of kettlebell and bodyweight movements focusing on joint mobility, strength, and cardiovascular endurance. (30 min.)

First of all, kettlebells consists of whole body movement exercises. This includes exercises that deliver cardio, strength, and flexibility benefits in just a 30 minute workout. Since it is a very personalized class, kettlebells can be beneficial for anyone at any fitness level. Our class is a mixture of skill building and high-intensity circuit training that makes for both a fun and challenging experience. You may use different sized kettlebells to adjust the level of intensity of the class. Another option would be to complete the exercises at a slower or faster pace. Our kettlebell training focuses on safety, proper technique, and appropriate weight progressions.
Furthermore, kettlebell training builds long lean muscles and improves full body strength and power. It will also increase coordination, joint mobility, and overall endurance. Additional benefits include increased cardio output, increased VO2 max, calorie burning, and a happy smiling face. This class takes place in our Strength & Conditioning room in the North Wing of the gym during the winter months and moves to our outdoor class space in the spring. This 30 minute class keeps you moving, having fun, and will keep you coming back for more.
