VS&F Journey

5 Things To Know

By Dan Doenges | In Community, Gym | on June 4, 2020

5 Things To Know when coming back or joining VS&F.

  1. Space is our friend: VS&F is 37,000 sqft. Right now we are operating below 10% capacity.  This gives plenty of room for everyone to stay spread out and enjoy their workout. With all three parking lots full the they fit 80 cars which is about 20% capacity.
  2. Energy: Right now the club has great positive energy. Everyone seems thrilled to be here and happy to have this important part of their life back. The club is full of life and community even while being 6’ apart.
  3. Start slow and steady: One of the jokes we have heard is that the weights here are heavier than people remember. It took you a long time to build up that muscle and stamina, so give yourself some time to get back into the groove.
  4. Spray stations: There are now 30 sanitizing stations throughout the club.  We have added 12 new spray stations around the club to ensure ease of use. Please be sure to wipe down your equipment before and after. Everyone is doing a great job of this!
  5. HVAC/ Air quality. VS&F has great air quality and has increased our ventilation. Due to our spacious rooms, high ceilings and low insulation the building naturally has great air quality and flow. We have also increased our ventilation to run for the max of 55min out of every hour.  This will pull fresh air into the building constantly while exhausting the inside air.

We were all unsure of exactly what to expect when re opening, but we are happy to say the club still feels like the Vermont Sport & Fitness we all know and love. We truly care about your experience and we are thrilled that we can still deliver a safe and enjoyable space where you can work on being your best self!

This community is blessed to have your club. Then energy, thought and commitment that you have poured into the club is obvious every time I am there. Thanks for all you’ve done to provide a safe and vibrant health club
