She’s spunky, talented, caring, and most importantly one heck of a Lip-Syncing sensation! It’s been a big year for Danielle Monroe both with her fitness and professionally, and we could not be more thrilled for her success.
As a mom of two, Danielle spent the last 6+ years in the home caring for her two boys. After experiencing post-partum depression, as many young mothers do, Danielle started taking time for herself. She began to regain her sense of self and purpose. Part of that process was joining Vermont Sport & Fitness and making her physical and mental health a priority.
With a background in dance, Zumba was a natural place to get back into her fitness groove! Once she was in a rhythm of at least one class per week she added strength training to her routine and focused more on her nutrition as well. In no time she was getting stronger and had more energy to keep up with two energetic boys!
Now after losing over 35 lbs in the past year she is tackling new challenges, this time professionally. Danielle’s passion for working with young kids has been evident from her work in the childcare here at VS&F. As a volunteer for the local nonprofit Wonderfeet Kids Museum, she is has spent countless hours helping grow the museum into the amazing space it is today. Now she has taken on the role of Executive Director and wasted no time diving in and helping her community through this position. We look forward to seeing what she does next!
