If you have ever wanted to do a 5K event or improve your time this is a great program for you. Chrissy makes sure that each person gets a unique experience to get them ready for race day. When you train for your first 5k you need to know a bit about how your own body works. If know how fast to set your pace you can go into your 5K race with confidence. Below is a list of items that Chrissy will focus on for your training. This program is for all levels and abilities. If you are interested you can sign up at the front desk, in person or by phone, at Vermont Sport & Fitness Club.
-Conditioning and pacing
-Strength training for 5k performance
-Once-a-week group training
-Individualized programming, depending on which race the participant chooses (2, 4, 6, 8K)
-6-week, 30 min. training program:
(Leads up to The Vermont Great 2-4-6-8K Run/Walk,
Sept. 15 at 10:30 a.m.—race admission not included.)
$69 members, $119 non-members, includes Race Team T-shirts!
(Non-members have use of the club on program days.)
